I will talk about the new things for me in America.

I felt that people living in America are very sociable.

When I walk along the street or go shopping, people smile me.

I'm very happy with it because it doesn't usually happen in Japan at least in a city.

I think it's good if Japanese people do that too.

It is better to smile than to keep a serious face!

And people often ask me how do I feel.

For example, " Are you tired?", " Are you bored?", something like that.

At first, I was surprised and didn't know how to answer it when I asked

those questions because I was not used to it.

These are new things for me in America!

Monica's class #1

This is the first time for me to write a blog, so I didn't know how to do it. Finally, I can start writing now. I feel nervous a little...
I'll start to talk about the picture. This Sunday, I went to my host mother's son's house to have Easter Dinner together. Her son's name is Nick, and he lives with his fiancee, Caroline. The woman in the picture is my host mother, Deborah. She made lasagna for the main dish. She is a great cook. I love her meals very much. And lasagna was also very tasty. Caroline made grilled salmon. I also liked it.
We don't have Easter in Japan, so it was my first time. Deborah prayed longer than usual before we started eating.
After the dinner, we tried to find my parents' house in Japan with Google earth, but we couldn't. I didn't know what was wrong, but it was difficult to explain about the place of my house. Anyway, we had a fun time.
